Preparation
Little preparation is usually needed; depending on the area, the centre may ask you to fast. The centre sends its preparation instructions before your scan, and we make sure you receive them.
How Doppler prices are quoted
The price of a Doppler scan depends on the vessels examined, for example one leg, both legs or the neck arteries, and on the centre. We send you the partner centre's current price in AED on WhatsApp before you book.
Referral
A Doppler scan is usually requested by a doctor, such as your family doctor, a vascular surgeon or a cardiologist, who names the vessels to be examined. Insurers usually need that referral to cover the cost.
